*We'll be updating all totals markets and quotes after every game -so keep coming back for the latest market moves
The totals markets have fantastic opportunities and having run our eye over them, here are the ones that we think are the best value and think deserve your attention:
a) Total Points -Go back 5 years and the points total finshed at 698. What has happened since then that the quote is now around the 600 mark? Perhaps there is less flowing rugby in this age of ultra professionalism. There also seems to be less between teams in terms of quality.
Verdict: We see the points total being under 600 -so it's a selling recommendation
b) Home/Aways - The easiest way to assess this market is to work through the fifteen matches and simply give a +/- total for every game. Ours came to +43 for home/away teams, which means that we will be selling this market with Spreadex (currently 90-100).
Verdict: Seems too high for some of these close games. We prefer to be sellers.
c) Drop Goals - This is a market that never fails to disappoint! For years it would underperform with a measly 4 or 5, then in 2010 it surprised everyone with a mighty 11. Last year yielded 7 and we think it will be another low year and will be selling at 7.5 with Spreadex.
Verdict: Try laying with Spreadex and then buying with Sporting Index for a profit after week one
